GDS was appointed to undertake the design and specification of a partial fire precautions upgrade to the 80-unit block following a fire door compliance assessment report.
GDS acted as lead designer and provided design for improvements to compartmentation, compartment fire doors, flat entrance doors, improved smoke ventilation, emergency lighting and a mechanical extraction assessment report on the communal extraction system.
GDS obtained consents, prepared specifications and drawings forming a tender package.
